Gold is widely used in the areas of Jewelry, medicine, industry and electronics. Because it has good electricity and heat conductivity and keep stable when it is exposed to the air, so it can be used to make electrical connectors and printed circuit boards. Gold alloy is also used to add strength of gold and modify its characteristics.

Auric Chloride ( AuCl3) is the most common compound of gold. It plays an important role in organic synthesis.
