Currently Skyspring Nanomaterials has the capacity to produce over 5 metric tons of high purity cesium iodide per month. Cesium iodide is used in industrial applications such as x-ray scanners for security scanners and product scanners as well as in electromagnetic calorimetry, medical PET and CAT scanners.
